Ahanu (they/them/ellx) is a Kainai Two-Spirit Intersex Non-Binary persxn. They have written, music directed, acted in, and directed various shows for Angel Rose Artist Collective.

Ahanu is a Transgender, Non-Binary, Two-Spirit living in what is known as Washington D.C., ancestral Piscataway land. Ahanu is the Managing Director of Nelwat Ishkamewe, and has acted as Stage Manager for various of their programing. Ahanu was recently seen in Nelwat Ishkamewe’s The Cosmic Twins, in which, they also were the Music Director, Costume Designer, and Mask Designer.
